Our Practice
Ark Animal Hospital has its roots as the oldest veterinary practice in Liberty, Missouri, originally owned and operated by Dr. Pimberton, the first vet in the area. In 1961, Dr. Bales took over the practice and renamed it Bales Animal Hospital. At that time, the clinic was located below the drugstore on the Liberty Square. In 1970, Dr. Bales moved the practice next to the bowling alley. Dr. Denny joined the practice in 1991, working alongside his childhood vet until Dr. Bales retired in 1995.
Ark Animal Hospital was renamed and relocated to its current location in 2002. Over the years, many things have changed, but one thing has remained constant, and that’s the dedication that each member of our team has to delivering high quality veterinary care and exceptional client service.
We are proud to be the only AAHA certified practice in Liberty, a title that demonstrates the high standards of safety and care that we consistently adhere to. Our goal is to not only meet your expectations, but to exceed them with each and every interaction we have.
Ark Animal Hospital is a full service veterinary health care facility offering a complete range of medical, diagnostic, dental and surgical services all designed to help your dog or cat enjoy as long and healthy a life as possible.
